The only RULE here is NO fussin', fightin', or feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies and homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with caffeine and without), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemondade and orange juice, cappucino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes and Kool-Aid.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

Morning All, I'm late joining in here this morning. Had to rush around and do as many chores as I can before leaving for work and had a wrong number that ended up being a 30 min. phone call. Nice older fella just needing someone to listen.

Wish Dr. Bob would hurry and wake so he can have a cup of Calli Tea before the forest fires rage again! LOL

By the By.... if you've sent me a pm and I haven't replied, please remove some posts from your mailbox. I got one today that needed a reply and her box is full.

I'll be at work all day again and won't have email or AIM but can get pm's off the board. I won't see the moderator alerts tho. If something important comes up, please pm me.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. It's supposed to be 55° here today and sunny. Nick has to go with me to work so we have all his school work packed up and some lunch for a picnic.

    Diane

Dan-I have 2 sisters and no brothers. Jordan, Taylor and I were having the sock-o-rama. Cheryl always says someone is going to get hurt or get in trouble. She's not always right.

Boy Howdy all. I'm awake, just late getting to the BB this morning.

Enjoyed my oatmeal. Don't use the "quick" kind and found that the old fashioned ones soaked overnight make a delicious breakfast.

And my Calli herbal food beverage, of course! So saying 'hey' and need to hit some "hot spots" from last night and see if the whole forum has burned down! :(

    Don't go there
    without the WHOLE ARMOR :(

    Ephesians 6:13 (nKJV)
Therefore take up the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to withstand
in the evil day, and having done all,
    to stand.

Well, FINALLY...it's MY turn!!! Are you guys ready for THIS??? They are predicting SNOW here later tonight and tomorrow!! It's the lead story on all the local news and websites!!!

So, what is the possibility of this actually happening? Maybe 5%, but if I needed milk, bread or firewood today, I probably couldn't find any!!! [IMG] [IMG]

    Snow Queen,

It couldn't happen to a better part of the country. But even if you get 4" - you still won't have the foggiest idea of what snow is all about!

Dan - try living up here in snow country!

Gib - I see that you're trying to make up for your parents not giving you any brothers! Now what do you suppose your sons will do someday - because they have no sisters?

Dan - two sisters - one brother!

I know, Dan!! That's why I think this is so funny!!! They predict a slight chance of an inch of snow, and it's headline news!!! :D

Just dropping in to say hi - we have Teen Time tonight so won't be on much.

Been very quiet around here lately. I guess our mods have been busy putting out fires elsewhere. I've been sticking my nose in as well and am afraid that a little, tiny bit of sarcasm may have snuck through a couple of times ;) .

Seems like its been kind of quiet all over - our biggest news of the week was finding a new calling plan to ring the US for 4 euro cent a minute!

Weather map shows some nasty snow in the hill country SOUTH of D/FW toward the holy land (Waco) and Austin.

Did George W finally fess up to the truth and the whole state "freeze over"? [IMG]

Sarcasm and satire are two of the lesser known gifts of the Spirit!

Oh, and I didn't put all the fires OUT. Actually FANNED ONE by starting a new topic in General Baptist. Try to get this "I'm more spiritual than you because I wear/don't wear . . " argument brought to a head.

    Hi Everybody!

It has been a busy day. I am on my way to work now and then I will be getting ready for our church-sponsored 'couples' Valentine's party tonight.

I will probably not get to check back in until tomorrow morning. So keep the home errr cyber fire burning until my return. :D

§ue (who gets to eat out 2 nights in a row!)

Good night all - its way to quiet around here.

Dr Bob - couldn't you let some of those guys hang around a little longer so we can have some fun :D ? They've livened things up the last few days.

    See you in the morning!

    Roger, don't tempt him!

Hope your cold is better! Mine's about gone already. Have a lovely night and sleep well.

Joan of Arcadia is on at 8:00 and MONK is on at 10:00 p.m. Wow ... big night for ME!

    Hi, y'all!! [IMG]

They are still predicting snow here, although they have moved it back from 9:00 p.m. to sometime after midnight. The news tonight showed all the sand trucks getting loaded up and ready to sand the roads! Guess I should stay up and watch for the first snowflake to fall, but I probably won't...I'll just be surprised in the morning!! [IMG]

I agree with you Roger. It is rather quiet around here...just get on the ignore list...lol

You could always visit the Fighting Fundamentalists if you want fighting that goes on and on and on and on, every day.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Oy Vey Jim! Do they really fight a lot? Oh... wait, is it REALLY called the Fighting Fundamentals? LOL!

Well I got home a little late from work but thankfully had some left overs to warm up! Nick and Jim are playing Monopoly and listening to some old jazz while I watch JofA.

Snow, really C.J.! Dr. Bob said he was trying to push the bad weather out of his area! YIKES! In Texas tho???

No question that the WORST day of fighting on the BB is less acrimonious that the BEST day on the FightingFundamentalForums.

By finding that ONE of the "incendiaries" here on the BB was actually in his 6th incarnation (back again under different names to do nothing but creat problems), stopping his posting privileges calmed things down immeasurably!
