WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE...

The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, donuts, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies, homemade cakes, homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

    Good morning all,

It is 54º right now with cloudy skies, and a strong wind advisory until midnight. Rain is expected for the next few days. It's only going to get up to 56º today.

It's time to start planning for our Memorial Day picnic. We have two grandsons graduating from high school on May 28th and another grandson who will be ordained as a Youth Pastor on May 27th. My whole family will be at the picnic on May 29th.

I have already reserved a large pavillion at the park and we are expecting around 30 people.

I usually prepare all the food because everyone else has to travel to get here. I'd best get busy planning the menu!

    HAGD!

It's about time you got this new one opened, Sue! ;)

I forgot the donuts. Viv has them in the car...guess you'll have to do with Fig Newtons! [IMG]

    Morning, Tony!

Brent is fixing me some scrambled eggs for breakfast. I wouldn't be able to chew Fig Newtons right now, but I love them!

It's amazing what you can't eat when your teeth hurt.

I am making out my menu for the picnic and, hopefully, will feel good enough to pick up most of the ingredients at Aldi's tomorrow.

I need to go by Krogers also and order a full-sized sheet cake. I'm going to have them divide it into three parts (if they will) 1/3 for each of my grandsons who are being honored.

    Back to my list,

    Good Morning All!

I'm gonna be a hit and runner today cause Cassie needs a new outfit for the "dance" this evening and as usual I left it to the last minute. I have 2 1/2 hours to put together a blouse and cut out a skirt. The skirt I'll sew up after her 8th grade awards ceremony at 1:30.

    Okay, going to work now!

Oh boy! Viv said we're having breakfast for supper again! I must be crazy, but I've always loved having breakfast for dinner! Probably because I seldom had breakfast in my high school years. In my grade school years it was usually a bowl of cereal. But, now we have eggs, bacon, grits, coffee and sometimes pancakes! Lawd, haz moy-see!

I've got to go and fix something for lunch. My blood sugar has got to be low 'cuz I'm feeling strange! Adidas, folks... ;)

We like to have breakfast for supper too. I think it's because we never get to eat breakfast together, so I don't fix a big one anytime other than when we have it for supper.

Then I fix eggs, bacon (or sausage), pancakes, hashbrowns (or fried potatoes & onions) and biscuits!

Now I'm hungry and can't chew! See what you did, Tony??? [IMG]

    Food? FOOD?! YES YES YES!
I'm starving. I'm tired of looking at the computer screen.

    Pass that bacon and eggs!

Actually, I'm gonna run down to the cafeteria and see what's up. They're having a luau thingy and word on the street is that you can get a decent lunch for two bucks, so I'm off to my car to dig up change and see what they have to offer.

Bacon, eggs, grits, and coffee sound so wonderful though. I haven't had all of those together for a very very long time.
Hashbrowns sound good too though. Throw some melty cheese on top, some sliced green onions, and eat it with guacamole. YUMMY!

I think I just sighed out loud. [IMG]

Hey folks! Got the top made, decided not to make the skirt cause all the kids are wearing jeans. Made it to karate and then to Cassie's awards (She got a science award!) and "graduation". Now we're back home getting her ready to go get ready for the "dance" tonight. I keep putting the word dance in quotes because none of the kids actually dance! They all stand around and yak with their friends.

Gotta go check Chris' dirtbike out. See ya!

Hey Gwynneth! In the deep south, grits are a little white part of corn that is fixed like oatmeal or cream of wheat. I like mine with lots of butter and salt. People who didn't have them as little guys aren't always able to develop a taste for them.

Sue, how are you feeling? Able to eat yet?

Gayla, I like a large platter of breakfast foods too!

Congrats to Cassie on the Science award!

OK gekko, I keep trying to think of a word that ends in the, but I'm braindead, so I can't.

This weekend Joe graduates from college. We have a full day of events on Saturday and hope to get back home by noon on Sunday.

First summer semester starts next Tuesday and I've got jury duty next Thursday! Drat and double drat! No one wants to sub for this class I've got.

I got my hair cut a little different and I finally found somehthing I'm really happy with for the wedding. It's a chiffon skirt with a couple of layers that form a ruffly bottom. I ordered a lace top that should be here about mid week next week. I'm doing the happy dance.

the funny thing is, one time this guy i know (not personally) said that in front of a whole bunch of people and one lady (who was an english major) stood up and said that it is impossible to end a sentence with the word 'the'! and then right after said "its not proper english to end a sentence with the word 'the'!

haha. she just did it... twice..

    have a good one everybody.
    God bless.
