Have you read it yet? What did you think of it?

I read it after it was recommended by Tiny Tim. It made me smile in places, a few things I could identify with, but at times I though the author tried too hard to impress his readership that he was a great down to earth type of guy. Once or twice I thought he was telling tall tales, especially when he spoke of his efforts to conduct funerals, "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, I pray this casket doesn't rust." Sorry. I just cannot see a man who is gifted enough to run a mega church coming off with a line like that at a time like that. For me, overall, the book was disappointing.

I'm sorry you didn't care for the book.
I thought it was an enjoyable read. I find that he thinks some of the same things I do.

No problems Tim. Books, like music, I think are governed by a person's personality and interests - I'm glad you enjoyed the book.
