It doesn't help when a multimillionaire Senator, Bernie Sanders, who was on welfare at one time, has never held a job, and owns three homes, pushes the "benefits" of Socialism. As does his shadow Alexandria O. Cortez.

And now, due to the lockdown, sure enough people are getting use to the idea of the Nanny State when receiving stimulus checks.

And Biden just wiped away millions of dollars I student loan debt. What about those wholabored to pay off their loans? Refund?

Banks are letting mortgage holders off set their monthly payments too.
Everything that our elected Socialists had touted as Socialist programs and advantages before the Covid-19 outbreak is now being implemented using the outbreak as the vehicle.

You can't go work. Here, accept this government tax-free check. You can't work and pay your rent, here let your government pass a law that tells your landlord they can't evict you.
You can't pay your mortgage, here let that federally insured lending institution put off your monthly mortgage payment for the next four months....

Now, in states all over the country businesses are hiring. Because their former employees are doing precisely what AOC was promoting years ago in her Socialism zeal, making money to stay home.

Of course the Democrats stole the November 2020 Presidential election! Their Socialist Communist agenda is on a roll.
A Christian Republican was in the way.

I have to say that this is a really interesting post. I do not agree with socialism or what it brings to countries. It is dangerous.
I didn't hear anything about Biden paying off student debt and have been following that very closely, I have student debt.

My wife and I are in the process of buying our own house and we are not able to set our own rate. We are being told what it is. They have allowed for forbearance but what else do you expect them to do? I would say that a great many people would be homeless in an instant. Who would you blame at that point? I would say the people for not managing their money wisely. But here is a different idea, instead of the government taking care of people. (Some of these include believers.) What if we as the church helped each other with our needs? Not out of obligation but out of cheerfulness of heart.

I will agree with you that Covid is being used to make this a nanny state. The issue now isn't that people can't work. People can work all they want here, places are hiring like crazy but no one wants to work. I do not like the socialist programs that are happening or what they are pushing but we still have to reach them. Socialist or not.

I'm not sure what you mean by a Christian Republican. If you mean former president Trump, that is a totally different topic of discussion. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated what he did for this country.

I guess I am responding because I wonder if this type of speaking is helping us reach others for Christ or is doing the opposite. I'm not meaning any of my post as mean spirited, I'm truly curious if this is helping the situation or just making it worse.

Totally, it seems the money is towards those who went to colleges that had failed at this point. Personally, I don't really see them paying off regular student loans at this point. But who really knows, right?

I work in commercial Architecture, Engineering and Land Planning and, honestly, I really enjoy solving complex design problems to “create spaces that serve people”. So if it is all the same to you, I think that I will just continue to spend millions of dollars of other people’s money to help them earn tens of millions of dollars and employ thousands of people in Hospitals and Colleges and Commercial Centers around the country.
I wouldn’t mind some Heath Care Reform, insurance is quite the P.I.T.A., but I would prefer to keep on working rather than collect a government stipend.

So I will have to pass on Socialism and Marxism.
