CONGRESSMAN DEMS GET PAID EVEN IF THEY DON'T SHOW UP FOR WORK

Okay, so let's suppose that any of us who work for a living decided to not show up for work because we didn't agree with the hiring of a new employee that the company hired. I could be wrong, but I would assume that such a willful act would result in termination for failing to report for duty. But what if we still expected to get paid for a job that we refused to show up and do? We would probably be laughed at and considered out of our minds to say the least. Nonetheless, this is exactly what the Democrats in Congress are doing when they fail to carryout their Constitutional duties to vote on matters before Congress.
All of the congressional members that are elected to vote on matters that involve the proper functioning of our nation are expected to represent "THE PEOPLE" in a capacity that reflects the views and opinions of those who voted in each and every congressional district. But what are the consequences for those who refuse to participate in a vote that effects the Country as a whole? Evidently, there are no consequences or repercussions for democrats who refuse to partake in a vote that involves the nomination of Justice Amy Barrett. Yet, these very same congress members on the left demand to receive their paychecks each month while the taxpaying Americans who pay their salaries suffer economic hardship as a result of a pandemic that has crippled our economy.
While this writing is solely based on my opinion, it is nonetheless based on facts. And though my opinion will likely gain no further attention than that of a homeless person on a street corner, I still hope that the rest of Americans will see what is occurring at the government level and in some way advocate a solution to resolve a corrupt political agenda. While I have a solution in mind, I will refrain from revealing such for the sake of retribution. Unfortunately, my views and opinions matter not. But IF "WE THE PEOPLE" would stand up for what we believe in and allow God to give us the courage and wisdom to turn this Nation back to a Christ centered Country we would be much better off.
Perhaps this is a question that will receive no response or feedback, but I hope that at least one person out there will have some opinion on the matter of whether or not democratic congressional members should have their salaries withheld for failing to carryout their Constitutional duties?

God Bless!!!

Someone commented on a Fox News story that a fellow rubbed a magic lamp, and a genie appeared, asking him what he wished for. He said "I wish I would never have to work again" — and poof! He found himself in a US government office.
