Contestant reality shows

None!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

We watch Dancing With The Stars, Survivor, American Idol, and I must admit to my summer guilty pleasure, Big Brother. I usually laugh myself silly over their antics.

 

You forgot "None of the above." Marking "Other" would mean that I watch at least one reality show, and I don't.

Why was there a "None" option. I loathe reality shows.....because they are unreal.

I also loathe those stupid challenger type gameshows where people are encouraged to bad behaviour and in some cases if the contestant is desperate enough to forsake any moral values they may have.

You never see ordinary folks......like here on the BB going about their daily lives, with their crosses and behaving and being decent folk. TOO BORING!!! maybe....but these are the folk who are the heroes of any nation, the neighbours who care for each other and their communities, volunteer in some capacity, who have moral values and are prepared to stand by them.:thumbs:

 

Well, I watched the end of American Idol this year. I didn't think Phil Phillips should have won, he can't hit the right notes. The girl who came in 2nd should have won, fantastic singer. I saw her sing the Star Spangled Banner at a Memorial Day service a few days after the show was over, and she is an incredible singer. She definitely has a career ahead of her.

I watched the Apprentice a few times, I kind of like Donald Trump. The show is just one big advertisement though, most folks might not recognize this.

I don't know, you kind of get caught up in these shows, it seems I pick one person I want to see win, and then I watch and hope they do.

I rarely watch any of these shows from beginning to end, I really do not watch a lot of TV.

I don't watch any on that list, however, I do enjoy Auction Hunters, American Digger, and Bar Rescue. (SPIKE TV--The manly channel for men who do manly things in a manly manner.)

 

I am with Jon. I do not watch any reality show. I see no redeeming value in the shows.

 

Don't you mean "Why WASN'T there?" :tongue3: I would have chosen it had there been one.

 

I watch America's Got Talent and Undercover Boss, and so does my wife. She also likes Storage Wars but I can't remember what channel.
