Covenant Theology into Amillenialism

I might be in the 5%.

Yes, I think Covenant Theologians tend toward the amellenial view. I certainly hold that view. As for it being a necessary interpretation of scripture - hard one to answer -- probably not necessary but it does seem to be the correct interpretation to me.

I can only speak for myself, and my perceptions of what others of my faith believe (Primitive Baptists). We would (all that I know anyway be considered amillenialsists and would say there will be no 1000 year literal reign.

In Revelation 20-- five times the Lord speaking through the Apostle John refers to the 1,000 year reign of Christ. If God told us about this time period only once we should believe Him and the reality of His exacting words.
