There is so much being written today by militant athiests against Christianity by people like Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, and Richard Dawkins. This paper: http://thegospelcoalition.org/pdf-articles/Craig_Atheism.pdf by William Lane Criag is the best direct response that I have seen. It is 30 pages long and not intended for light reading, but I think you might find it to be a tremendous resource as you encounter people who have read the militant athiests and seek to witness to them. I commend it to you.

William Lane Craig is a good guy! I met him and spoke with him a few times at a conference (he was a main speaker, I was leading 2 workshops). Thanks for posting this!

Dr. Craig is a first rate apologist with a keen philosophical mind coupled with deep and intrinsic scientific arguments. I think he has one of the great theological minds of our day. May God continue to bless and use his talent and intellect in defending the faith against "militant" atheism.
