This is nothing more, and nothing less than a simple poll. Discussion is optional. I am trying to see what choice of end time arrangements the majority of my Baptist family will choose, and I would appreciate your taking the poll, and giving a reason as to why you are choosing one over the other.

    Shalom!!!

Is creamation what they do to corn? If so, I am not a fan.

    I intend to be cremated.

The very idea of cremation burns me up.

Since the government won't let my body rot in the back fields; cremation is the least expensive way to go.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Cremation for me. Lot less expensive. Besides, I'm going to eventually have a new body

Move to Texas. You can get planted on the back of someone's farm.

I am not sure what will happen. I made arrangements for my body to be donated to medical science. They can do what they want, it makes no difference to me.

Pretty much how I feel...I would prefer to have it dumped at the landfill or left to rot in the forest....I guess we burn it.

I've told my husband I want to be stood up in the corner of the dining room where I can keep my eye on him and his next wife....keep them in line. I also have told him I do not want a funeral...no weeping and wailing. I want a BIG party, with food, music, and laughter, telling of stories and memories, maybe even dance a jig or two. I want people to remember my life with joy, and hope that I've made a difference. I'm going to be up in Heaven, worshipping at the feet of my Savior and having a party with the angels. I don't want them weeping and wailing...REJOICE! I have a new body, I have a new life!

I would prefer to be buried un-embalmed in a traditional plain pine "toe pincher" coffin.

I put that I hadn't made up my mind yet because if I die in Japan I'll have to be cremated (only two graveyards in the country that I know of for interrment), but if in the States might be interred. :type:

Burial in my old flight jacket and blue jeans. And a gravestone that the groundskeeper must mow around, not over (to ensure at least one person remembers me:laugh:).
