Croquet Anyone?

    Just interested to see if anyone in here has had a go at playing Croquet, it apparantly is a game that people of all ages can play, and it has been described to me as a game that is a little like Billiards yet on Grass.

    I am interested to try it out, so I would like to know how you have found it?

    Croquet in my mind is nothing like billards, but it can be fun. Personally I didn't find it all that exciting, but what do you expect from a game invented by the French. :D

    I used to play alot when I was a kid, but I haven't played in well over 10 years!

    When I was a child/teenager, we lived in the country and had a very large front yard. When my parents had friends/relatives visit, we had a "hot" game or two or three of croquet.
