Cruise during Christmas time?

    Anybody been on a cruise during Christmas? If so, how was it (besides expensive)?

    A co-worker did last year and he truly enjoyed it. Part of the enjoyment was just being able to spend time together with family.

    My DW & I took a 7-day Caribbean Cruise containing Christmas
    Day. We followed it with a 7-day Caribbian Cruise containing
    New Years Day 2005. The New Years Cruise cost
    about twice what the Christmas Cruise cost.

    The Room Keeping crew was from Indonesia and
    had a knock-your-socks-off Christian musical at
    midnight starting Christmas off. (the main religion in
    Indonesia is Muslim - Indonesia is the largest
    population Muslim nation in the world. But these
    were Indonesian Christians).
