This past weekend, I went to the Festival of India in downtown Charlotte. The food was great, the costumes were beautiful, the exhibits were interesting.

Have you been to a cultural festival in your area? Tell us about it!

We go to the Stone Mountain Highland Games every year. It's lots of fun, with lots to see and do. The food is different--Meat Pies, Fish and Chips, and of course, Tea and Scones. There are lots of exhibitions like Scottish dancing, Falconry and Sheep herding. The marching of the clans is very colorful with all the tartans and the bagpipes. Usually, they have a genealogist there to answer questions about ancestry, etc. Each clan has a booth, and you can go visit other members of your family clan, and learn about where your family came from in Scotland.

Jewish Food Festival. It was awesome. Good food. Good music. Educational booths.

Will attend the Greek food fest again in a few weeks.
