Don't forget: the article says Marvel is having a gay wedding between two of its characters....We always knew it had to be Robin...he even has a girl's name
This further cements my favoritism towards Marvel

Disgusting. More liberal indoctrination of our kids.
OK so are they gonna have a DC charterer who comes out as an adulterer? I'm not saying, I'm just saying .:saint:
From the article: "Marvel Comics will reportedly feature the first gay superhero wedding between Northstar and his boyfriend in next month's issue of Astonishing X-Men."
Actually, X-Men started off as a way to normalize racial differences; which is amusing, since most of its characters have been predominantly white. They added a Canadian, Russian, and an African (not exactly sure what African country she's from) in an attempt to show diversity. It has subsequently been used to normalize anything that's not considered "normal."Some years ago we were members of a church whose pastor believed the whole XMen series was nothing but an attempt to normalize homosexuality.

The thing you have to remember about comic books is that pretty much, none of the artists/writers/etc. in that business are Christians, much less professing to be saved. Not sure any of them profess any religion. Maybe Wicca. At least with movies, you can see the Catholic influences, even (especially?) when they get them so totally wrong.

I did appreciate the quote from the Avengers movie: "There's only one God, ma'am; and I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that!"What's sad is, depending on what's been read, in a lot of issues of superman you see his moral upbringing, and even thoughts of praying to "God"
No where else am I aware of the good Lord being mentioned in comics.
I'm less and less likely to read comics the more and more they bring this into it. It's becoming harder to ignore.
this might sound strange to say, but THANK GOD it was neither Superman or Batman!
I'm a huge comic book guy. I've been reading them for 20 years now. What I always liked about comic books were that if a certain book or company (neither Marvel nor DC is immune) wanted to force some kind of public issue down your throat, you had a lot of other options and could ignore it.
Green Lantern did it in the late 90's/early 2000's. I loved the book, but they wanted to force a gay character on me. I ignored it.
Certain runs of Avengers and Spiderman in the 2000's wanted to stuff politics down your throat. I ignored those.
But now this? According to Dan DiDio...it'll be a former straight character who hasn't been seen since the new DC Relaunch. Thankfully I know it won't be some of my favorite characters (Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Nightwing...who is formerly Robin)...but I think of a few of my favorites that haven't shown up since the relauch, and I hope that it's not one of them.
Homosexual's are a such a minority in this country but have such a loud presence that main stream comic books are willing to change for such a small group. I hope that Christians who read comics will not support this with their money so that DC (and Marvel) might take notice that we don't want to see this in comics.
