What happens if you believe your mate was saved but don't know for sure and you pray that he was but have doubts that he ever asked for forgiveness? :(

its out of your hands... it is appointed to man once to die, and then the judgment, once they pass, there is nothing you can do for them....

    blessings,
    Ken

all you can do is claim that peace that passes all understanding.

Believe the best and live as it is so. God is our very present help in time of need. God bless, and peace.

    Cheers,

    Jim

God's mercy endures forever and He is not willing that any should perish. If you believe your mate was saved, hold on to that and do not doubt. Live in light of God's promises and look forward to the time when you will see your mate in Heaven. This should give you great joy, peace, and comfort. God is good.

Hold on to your belief and also ask God to give you a reason to believe that he is alright. God has ways through dreams and other ways of showing us our loved ones are alright.

    Blessings,

    BBob

was my loved one saved before he died by suicide?

I had the same doubts and spent a lot of time and prayer seeking reassurance. Then I read a pastors note that said that suicide was definitely a sin but that when that person came before the throne of God in judgment that our God who reads and knows hearts if He so chose could act in mercy! We will never know for sure but since I do know well of God's great mercy I must rest solely in that!
