Democrat Portland Mayor ‘Done’ With ‘Anarchist Mob,’ Begs Public To Help ‘Unmask’ Rioters

In an address late Friday, Democrat Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler extended a city-wide state of emergency and begged for Portland residents to assist law enforcement in “unmasking” and identifying members of the “self-described anarchist mob” that have rioted through the city nearly every night since last May.

Portland police declared a riot in the city just hours later, as rioters caused a wave of destruction across the city’s northwest side, Fox News reported, with two “anarchist” protesters arrested in the continued unrest.......

The city is beginning to recover, but self-described anarchists who engage in regular criminal destruction don’t want things to open up, to recover,” Wheeler told Portland residents. “They want to prevent us from doing the work of making a better Portland for everyone. They want to burn, they want to bash.”

The Left first says "Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war" and then says unmask those waging war upon America. Perhaps another chestnut is aprapos "We have met the enemy and they are us..."

Tell the police to get tough with them, mass arrests and unmasking. With faces all showing on the internet, make show trials as examples. Prosecute and fine them at the least. Send them to prison destruction of property crimes and assault. Wearing masks make criminals anonymous, so police should unmask them at the demonstrations when they commit crimes.

I have seen plenty of video, the police dont touch these guys. They have yet to get really committed to doing really anything to stop them. Send in the national guard with orders to shoot, then shoot their lawyers, declare martial law.

I'm ancient enough to remember the song "Where has Ore Gon?" Guess we're all "Gon"ers! OKAY, OKAY!!! Keep your Combat Booties on. We're on a war, but not with ourselves! Who's our REEL enemy? By the tone of some BB posts, one'd get the notion that we are at war with each other. Not saying we need to have a "Kum By Yah" huggie, kissie kind of BB, but, OTOH hand, some body just out surfing the web might just get that notion. C'on y'All....Do we REELEE need all this hotter than (You know where) each time we reply to a fellow BB poster? It's okay to toss different ideas around, but to call our brothers & sisters HAIRY TICKS just cause they might appear to have a different way of approaching a concept that U do shouldn't have to result in launching comments questioning a person's salvation or implying that she/he has committed THE unpardonable sin, does it? If we're saved then we've got soooo much in common with each other, the very least one would expect not to be the target of such attacks I've read on BB over the years i've been a BB member. So what if you don't hold to the very same notions that e.g., a new addition to God's family has. Aren't we to EDIFY one another rather than CRUCIFLY that individual? We claim to have compassion on one another, but you'd never get that idea after reading some BB posts I've come across. I'm thankful for the people who've volunteered to serve as BB Administrators. The do much more than the pay grade they get. I'm no expert on a lot of issues I've noticed on BB, but on some of them, I shudder to even post them & then dodge the incomings that a few BB would toss my way. This is SUPPOSED to be a place where we, as members of the same family, ought to be able to cite our understanding of different ideas without having to rush for shelter for so doing. If the Holy Spirit would be sitting on our shoulders & read some of the comments on BB, you'd think that He'd wonder just how saved some BB posters really are. Guess who IS on our shoulders anyway! Selah.

They have not convinced me they "want to get well." They seem content to ruin the country. (There was an end rhyme there somewhere.)

However, they had no problem calling in tens of thousands of troops after the Capitol incident. Between that and wanting to confiscate guns, it’s no wonder people suspect them of a Marxist takeover.
