Liberal? I would term all of the above heretical. I can see subtle differences of opinion, but there is a threshold of reasonableness that once crossed, you find yourself in the Wild West of unorthodox Christianity.
I guess a more interesting question might be, which denominations would be considered mainline Christianity, and what is the litmus test for such?
But there as vast differences of opinions even in what might be considered “conservative” churches: I used to teach a wed night class at a church of Christ, and I had an ELDER in that class admit they he did not believe in a physical resurrection. Wowzer! I about fell on my head!
One would think something so brazenly unorthodox would be ferreted out in an ELDER vetting process, but I guess not. But this is precisely how a church can run off the rails. That is, a nut job or two take a leadership role in one moment in time, a few folks agreed with them on one or two bizarre things, and you’re off to the races!
