Deny Yourself

When Jesus tells us to deny ourselves, He is first telling us to deny sin, to say no to sin. He wants us to have a rock solid commitment to leave the slavery to sin.

Once people make this firm decision, even knowing full well their helplessness with sins, it is then the Lord works His greatest miracles as with the deliverance of Israel from Egypt.

Every moment resisting temptation is victory, stand victorious by standing in resistance. Watch the enemies grow weaker outside your walls. Keep watch with the Lords help, by Trust and the realisation He is right there with you, ever faithful.
One weapon the enemy tries to throw over your walls is discouragement, they tell you that you are alone, that the Lord doesn’t care, that the Lord has abandoned you. Recognise this and remember it, if you feel discouragement and hear discouragement, know it’s the enemy.

Also it is very important to remember that the Lord is very sensitive, sensitive beyond our understanding, because His Goodness and Love is beyond our understanding.

We are asleep in the Garden not aware of The Lords Great Sorrow over our sins, Jesus suffered a lethal, mortal sorrow, so sorrowful He could die from that alone. Only by His Divinity could He drink it and live.

We can not drink the whole cup He drank, but we can ask for a portion of that perfect sorrow for our sins.
That sorrow comes from fully understanding the sweet Innocence, Love and Goodness we have offended in the Lord.
Knowing this, we will never want to do anything to cause that sorrow again.

Keep watch with the Lord in sorrow in Gethsemane each day for your sins, do not sleep anymore, be awake and see the suffering and sorrow of our sweet Lord Jesus. Lamentation for our sin expands our heart and capacity for Grace to become like Him and our truest self.

The only extraordinary thing He asks from us is an extraordinary commitment and Trust in Him.

Jesus is far more sensitive, innocent and Loving than even a little child. We find them impossible to harm, but why do we not see Jesus the same way, sorrowed by our sin.

This being only the beginning, then the self denial of our human will can take place, this is when God’s Will can Reign on Earth as it is in Heaven.
This is when Gethsemane is transformed into Eden in full outward expression, a return to the first order of Creation but under Christ Jesus.

The second ongoing phase is about eliminating from our lives all other things that do not conform to God’s Holy Will.

This starts by burning desire, docility and Trust, and begins as we ask for the Grace of desire, docility and Trust. Without Jesus we can do nothing.

The human will is attached to us as if by glue, by our wills and volition we have obtained everything in life, since the time we screamed our lungs out in the crib. So it is the greatest enterprise a soul can undertake.

Detachment from our human will can be a very frightening thing and it is primarily done by Jesus but also by the Great desire for it that He gives us. The human will is at the very core of us, and only Divine delicacy can remove it.

Each night when we are most docile in sleep, we ask for Jesus to begin work on us for greater desire for His Holy Will, and detachment from our human will.

Major things done at the spiritual core of us sometimes require us to be put to sleep, as with Adam and the Creation of Eve. But that’s a separate subject for now.

Don’t be afraid if you wake up in the night in spontaneous prayer, thanksgiving and praise, this is normal. This is the very core of your soul finally seeing its liberation from the tyranny of the human will.

This burning desire we ask Jesus for is like a heat gun that melts the bonds of our will and receives His Sovereign Will.

The exposing of our core and receiving the Divine Will requires a great burning desire for it on our part, only by great desire is this Great Gift given.

It is the Fountain of Deity that wells up in us and gave life to Eden in the beginning. Through Christ is this fountain restored to us.

This is the fulfilment of the words of the Lord’s Prayer, “ Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven “

The Sovereign Kingdom of The Divine Will Reigns on Earth in us, as it is in Heaven.
The New Heavens and New Earth will be brought about when enough souls do this, completely rejecting their human will and completely living in the Divine Will.

“ It is no longer I that lives, but Christ who lives in me “

Can we imagine a world where only Christ walks it sovereignly in every human being.
That’s what Earth would look like if God’s Will is done on Earth as it is in Heaven. There is no sin in Heaven only Love, Peace and Joy.
Living in The Divine Will is the summit of your happiness, the restoration of your inheritance once stolen. It is the purpose for which you were created from all Eternity.

Each morning tell Jesus you Love and Trust Him, tell Him to take your human will and volition, and give you His Holy Will in its place. Such that He can walk the Earth freely in you without any resistance.

By Jesus training wheels we learn this, we will fall in and out of The Divine Will until we permanently live there. Jesus knows our weakness, but if we desire it, Jesus can accomplish this wonder in us, the Heavenly Jerusalem come to Earth in us, restoring us to the first order of Creation.

If you fall out of the Divine Will into your will, recognise it and ask to enter back in. Be patient with yourself and do not get distracted by the new spiritual awarenesses you will have. Be faithful and attentive to Jesus completely, keep your eyes fix on Him, only Jesus can guide you in this, only Jesus knows you and where you are at as a unique individual soul.

Live in Jesus Presence throughout the day, even working in a loud generator room, or using a jackhammer you can glance in recognition of His Presence with you in Love.

“ Not my will, but your will be done “
