I agree. The President is delusional.

In fact, I'll go one better. Everytime I hear him speak the words about how he/we are fighting a war on terror, I want to vomit. It's such a lie.

It is rapidly becoming impossible for America to engage any enemy anywhere in the world. Does it make any of you feel better that you have helped destroy America's military might? No matter how noble or whatever insight into enemy intent, the next POTUS will not have the option to fight terrorism with the military, until and unless we are again the target of mass murder.

And yet again Ken, you produce an article of no substance, but full of vitriol and hatred for this President. Shame on you, all of you.

In that case we'll all be under martial law with no constitutional protections from government and you along with Clinton and Bush will have helped Al Qeada destroy our freedom. Shame on you.

Shame on you. </font>[/QUOTE]No Poncho, I support a strong military, unfettered by false assumptions of the loss of individual rights. All the rhetoric aimed at destroying the GWB administration is what's responsible for the mood of the nation that ultimately will probably make it improbable to go into Iran, with full military might. You have unwittingly (I hope) aided the causes of evil in your attempted destruction of a sitting President.

Bush is destroying his own presidency by constantly lying to the people and supporting the destruction of the U.S. constitution and our sovereignty as a nation not the people pointing those facts out.

I realize that you might be so scared that "the terrorists" will attack us again and we might miss out on another war that you are willing to give away your rights and allow the president to become an American dictator and that's fine, but you can't expect those of us that seek to defend the constitution of the United States against false and desinging men to stand idly and silently by while you give away our liberties along with your's. There may soon come a time when you get your wish and all opposition to government is silenced, till then you'll just have to live with the noise. Sorry.

I hate for anyone to lie, but I've not heard of a single lie from POTUS. It is not a lie to claim a wall you've seen before is blue when it is now actually green.

You infer (just like always) that I encourage or desire war, when nothing could be further from the truth. I fear nothing these terrorists can do, because they can do absolutely nothing unless allowed by God.

One of the many failings of a democracy is that as it ages, more and more "rights" will come under scrutiny, such as freedom to travel totally unfettered. Particularily if your a male of middle eastern descent. I would expect our govt. to insure our safety as best it can through some screening at airports, docks and depots. Though current efforts are a bad joke.

Why not wait until the time that a Constitutional right is violated? So far none have been. In the meantime quit constantly accusing this administration of these violations.

So if one doesn't get in lockstep with this president, they have aided the enemy? I think not! Patriotism is not blind obedience. It includes dissent.

Honest open dissent is healthy and probably good, but only when based in truth. There is nothing good in the dissent being proffered by the liberal leftists currently in such rage because of their loss of power. The same can be said of the efforts of Jane Fonda and J. Kerry in the Viet Nam protestations.

As to the blind obediance. I am under no spell when it comes to GWB. I have the respect for his office and his stance and conduct in the war on terror. I can't think of any other issues I agree with him on, even a little. History will treat him kinder than I would, as he'll be remembered as the successful terrorism fighter. Which until now...he is.

If you really want to know bush ..you must look at his early years and things that are on record
he is not a conservative but more of a neo-con
who had black and white trains of thought on how to control america to his liking...one thing for sure he really was born with a silver spoon in his mouth...not much history of accountability just always someone bailing him out..enabling him even more to be a poor preformer.

he even controled how he accepted Christ instead of walking an aile or going to a tent meeting.
he had to arrange the evangelist to meet him.

bush has hurt this nation and those who blindly
follow him only push forward his propaganda.

I can't blame him for that. I'm not a proponent of walking aisles myself. Walking to a particular physical location has nothing to do with salvation. There are plenty of ways to show by one's life that he/she has been saved by God.

You don't get it KenH...it raises the question was it contrived was it real...why not profess like the rest of us ..in the millions. He really
acted the part of a King even back then..the silver spoon firmly in place.

No one else did it when the evangelist came to town only George...what makes him any different or Kingly.

We all know that walking an aisle means nothing in lots of cases, ASLANSPAL. Christians are not created in a cookie cutter manner.

    Hogwash, ASLANSPAL, and cheap too!

We don't decide when or where we accept Christ. He does! We don't in our natural fallen state even want anything to do with Christ. We hate Him and all he stands for because we're in rebellion against God. The call of the Holly Spirit can not be resisted by those He chooses and He does choose whom he wants to choose. We all come to Christ the same way and it's all His doing.

Thereafter, we may decide when and where we profess our faith to others.

President Bush hasn't hurt this nation one little bit and he isn't being blindly followed or even followed at all. He was freely elected to serve the nation and that's what he's doing. Some of us happen to respect him for the good job he's doing with some very difficult situations. We don't like everything that's happened and we wish for more than we knew he could accomplish. We'd like to see a lot of changes in government but we don't single out and blame one man for the situation that has developed over years of government growth and intrusion into our lives. Unlike some, such as you, we don't find any gratification in an endless game of blaming him for every evil, every failure, every fault, and every trouble this nation endures.

Do you hate President Bush? Do you despise him? Do you want to condemn him? Do you want to put him outside the fellowship of Christians like yourself?

Do any of us know what's really in our brother's and sister's hearts?

The problem is, hillclimber, there isn't a war on terror. If he really believed there is a war on terror going on, he would've gone all out to defend and protect our borders since 09/11 and his State Dept wouldn't be dumping Muslim Somalians in rural towns all across the US of A
(remember Black Hawk Down), PLUS he wouldn't be all for letting a Communist country company be in charge of detecting nuclear devices for goods coming into our country, PLUS, he would round up and deport illegal aliens, PLUS, he wouldn't have turned his back on Israel and come up with the Road Map giving land away to terrorists, PLUS...a whole lot more. There is no war on terror. If this country ever has the guts to REALLY fight a war on terror, it would be fought differently than the way this Administration has done it.
