Design Engineering Shows God Created Life

Science is primarily the study of what exists in nature and how it works. It is based on careful measurements and careful experiments. Science has shown that living cells are characterized by information control systems. Scientists propose that these appeared by gradual, step-by-step processes. They can offer no experimental evidence to demonstrate how this is possible. When pressed, most will admit they have no clue how information and the hardware to use it could have appeared.

By contrast, engineers readily design computers (information systems). The tasks of software information, of the hardware control system, and how they relate to each must be predetermined. Neither has value without the other being already fully developed. A computer without software to run it is worthless, it can do nothing by itself. Software without a computer to use it is worthless, it can do nothing by itself. The requirement of very complicated, multiple components making a first appearance in already working form requires a designer. The universe isn't big enough nor its time of existence long enough for this to happen in a single step. Most scientists readily admit this.

The information system in a living cell is far, far more complicated than anything man has ever designed. Furthermore, a design is a a symbolic, abstract representation of a physical reality. Nothing exists in nature to convert a design for a cell into an actual living cell, even if the design did exist.

When these things are worked through, science and engineering working together lead us straight to a specific conclusion: A living cell was first designed by a super-intelligent being who then had to have the ability to move atoms and molecules into place to make a cell according to the design. Since nothing exists in nature to do this, this being also had to have the ability to work outside of the laws of nature as He fabricated the design through His inherent, innate power. There is no other rational alternative. What do you call a being who has super intelligence and moves atoms and molecules into place apart from the laws of nature to implement a predetermined design? You call Him God. . Living cells are created in such a way that an honest analysis of their features using modern technology leads us straight to the understanding that they were created by a living God.

This is exactly what Romans 1:20 says we should expect. God designed both us and the universe so that we should understand God's eternal power and diving nature simply by analyzing the creation. He counts the evidence for this so strong that there is no excuse for a person not to understand it.
