Dial 911

This is a true story about a quick thinking elderly friend.

My friend was in the hospital. Awaking from a nap she saw there was blood all over her sheet. Nothing hurt, but she knew she was bleeding somewhere. She pushed the call button ... waited ... and no one came to her room. She pushed the call button again .... same response ... none. Thinking, "I don't want to bleed out and no one know why," she picked up the phone and dialed 911.

The 911 operator answered, "Police or Medical?"
"Medical," she said.
She was connected.
"Where are you and what is the problem?"
"I'm in the hospital room XXX bleeding and no one responds when I push the call button."

In about 30 seconds her room was full of nurses and attendents!
