Did Al Gore invent the internet?

It is a lot like Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her front porch. Neither is true.

 

Actually both statements arent' true. But, that doesn't take way from the fact that Al Gore is an opportunistic liar.

 

Everyone in the world is an opportunistic liar except for several "real" baptists on this list.

 

What better way to spread his global warming propaganda than the internet? :thumbsup:

Not all of us are worshippers at Al's church. Although, the continued insistence that Global Warming, I mean, Climate Change, I mean, the mantra of all good communists, is true is a hoot.

 

I had this fella try to pass along to me several DVD's of Al's lectures on Green House gases and stuff like that---global warming, blah, blah, blah

I didn't want to hurt his feelings by not taking them---and watching them---it was worse than any sort of "water board" treatment anyone can dream of receiving at GitMo!!!:type:

 

The scope of Mr. Ex-Tipper's dishonesty goes beyond a lie.

He told things like this to try and gain power and money from folks. No telling how much money Gore has managed to steal to "combat" something that doesn't exist: Man-made global warming.

But it also goes back to a very basic conviction of Gore's: the best route for things to get done is for the government to do it. I think he wanted us to be convinced that the government is the only way to achieve wonders such as the Internet (oh yes, and he wanted us to be impressed with him as well).

You'd think that someone as smart as Gore that invented something like the internet would be bright enough to invent a ballot that even a Democrat could understand. Oh well...that's the way the chad dimples.
