Did the New Covenant Either Supercede Or Contain All prior Covenants?

Just trying to sort out if the New Covenant between God and man made with the death of Jesus on the Cross...

Did it supercede/obsolate all prior covenants, or does it include all prior ones in it, adding new provisions?
