Of course not, it is because the voting referendums that went through after the last election worked :laugh: . The stage was set of course for such discussions with all the early morning stories Tuesday of problems with voting machines and the new ID requirements.

 

Actually, the problems in Denver are being talked about extensively in the media. Not enough machines, major glitches, lines that lasted for hours. There is also coverage of threatening phone calls to encourage african-americans to stay home on election day. To say it is not being covered is selective reading.

BTW, this probably disenfranchised more Democrats than Republicans, since Denver is definitely a "blue" city.

Thanks for the info. Being in England, I only have access to national media outlets. Though I am not a conspiracy person, I do think there is an overall difference in the national tone concerning the outcome this time than other elections since 2000.

The "poor losers" and whiners won.

 

There aren't many whining, but Montana had bunches of problems getting votes in. I heard of long waits, trouble with machines, long drives to get votes to be counted.

No intimidation, no hacking reports, certainly no accusations of fraud & stolen elections, like I said on another thread, I'm proud of how the voters have acted, for the most part.

Also, I see very little in-your-face, ball spiking, poor sportsmanship from the winning side, again, for the most part.

Things have been pretty civil.

Notably it is the Dems who are opposed to all measures intended to secure the integrity of elections yet it is they who want to dispute results that don't go their way. Poll watchers are considered intimidators by simply being there.

The Republicans lost. There was probably no more fraud than usual... and that on the whole always favors Dems. There are far more areas that are exclusively controlled by county Dems than county GOP. They aren't necessarily more dishonest. They just have more opportunity with more situations with checks and balances.

With the exception of the threatening phone calls all those problems are logistical and without intention to sway the vote. You said in another thread "Diebold delivered" meaning that GWB won because Diebold riged the computers.

Do you still think Diebold riged the computers? Did Diebold change partys and cheat for the Dems? Why is nobody calling for a recount, charging the computers were hacked, etc?

 

Please point out where I said that...I honestly don't remember saying it. But I do think there were irregularities in Ohio with the voting that caused it to swing to Bush in '04.

Maybe like ACORN efforts, huh? There is objective proof that this group put thousands of phantom voters on the books so that they could stuff the ballot box for Dems.

All the Dems have are ambiguous theories and accusations. What constitutes "intimidation" btw? Issuing death threats? What exactly are these calls saying that's so scary that a qualified voter would be afraid to go to the polls?

They showed one lady who took a nail to the poll. She said she wanted to be sure they knew who she was voting for if they had those ballots again.
