Diane, As a Vet of nearly 15 years of active duty and 8 years of service in the Virginai Defense Force, I am very thankful that your church honors veterans. However, remember that Veterans Day is for those who have served (and still living). Memorial Day is for those who have given their live for these great United States. On Veteran's Day those who have lost a loved one are asked to stand. Those who have someone currently serving are asked to stand. Diane
Pastor Greg, I do understand that one of MLK right hand men disclosed in a book that MLK did have adulterers. (does anyone know off hand the title and/or author?)Originally posted by PastorGreg:
No, we don't usually honor Communists or adulterers.
And thanks for posting that clarification! It annoys me a great deal, too, when folks confuse the two. Veterans' Day is for the living!Originally posted by SALTCITYBAPTIST:
