Do you have any scripture that states water baptism "effects" Spirit baptism into the body of Christ?

No, as was trying to state that the act of the water baptism is a symbol/type of the act already done by God to have placed the person spiritually in Body of Christ beforehand!

No it isn't.
It has two symbolic pictures.
1. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
2. Our death to self (our old man), and our resurrection to a new life in Christ (Rom.6:3.4)

It is not a picture of the act done by God or of Spirit baptism, specifically. It has a more specific meaning. And because that meaning is specific the mode of baptism is specific; it must be by immersion.

We are saying the same thing here, you have included a more precise/complete picture of it!

Your points 1/2 results in a person become part of the Body of Christ, spiritually united to/with the Lord!
