    Hello all!

I am looking to dig deeper into my life and work towards being more Disciplined and living a more Holy life.

In doing so, I am looking for some articles, or a book to help me along this path other than the Bible. I have found a couple by John MacArthur, but I wanted to ask the group here for your opinion on some good resourses.

    Thanks!

    Jamie

Jamie, I would recommend books by A.W. Tozer.

    Specifically:

    The Pursuit of God

    Keys to a Deeper Life

    The Radical Cross

JamieinNH God's richest blessings to you as you seek to draw near to God! I have heard some really good things about a couple of Andrew Murray's books. You might check him out. I haven't had a chance to read any of them yet.

Jamie, A.W. Tozer has some good stuff however some of it might be tough reading for a young fellow. I am not a real big fan of John MacArthur but if you could get a hold of his books on "The Gospel According to Jesus" or The Gospel According to the Disciples" they will help you.

    Anything by Dallas Willard.

The first three chapters of "The Divine Conspiracy" can be life-changing. Two other good places to start are "The Great Omission" and "Hearing God."
