Why is this country still considered to be Christian? No one wants to follow the scriptures and they censor and are offended by God. Just because you call yourself a Christian and believe there is a God doesn't make you one. The devils also believe, and tremble.

Disney needs to be boycotted until they stop doing things like this.

Everyone should be boycotting them anyway.

Remember the Vanessa Hudgens scandal? She should not be under contract with Disney right now.

On the aside; Don't go to see this pice of trash movie!

Sony's just trying to reel in the Christian poplation market and thinks that we don't have a clue of what a good quality film is! You could find better art direction, special effects, and superior animation in VeggieTales, and even that's still stuck in the pre-Pixar era of CG. This isn't going to appeal or witness to any nonbeliever either, not while it's competeing with visuals like "The Golden Compass (don't see that one either)" or "30 Days of Night." Bottom line, don't let Sony or Paramount or whoever con you into any "Christian" film that lookes like this! We deserve as good-looking a film as any of the secular releases around it! For those who can't tell the difference between this movie and any other 3D animated piece, you probably hardly ever go to a theatre so why start now?

Never was a "Christian" country. Yes, culturally we are predominately Christian, but still are. To say an absolute like no one wants to follow God is also fallacious. You do realize that includes you?

To the OP, no one can ban God from anything. Maybe the mention of him, but not him.

Boycotts are ineffective and a waste of time. You also would have to boycott Pixar, Hyperion Books, Touchstone Films, ABC TV, ABC Family, ESPN, any ABC O&O TV station, Disney cruises, Disney theme parks, and God knows what else they own. While you're at it, better boycott Apple, since Steve Jobs is on the Disney Board of Directors, along with the companies of all the other directors. These are just a few that I know of.

Okay the majority doesn't follow the scriptures.
Most people say they are Christains, but they follow their own "morality."
This country has been much better than it is today. I doubt this country was even at any time predominately Christian.

They need to mention God if they are going to make a Biblical movie.
This is like what Gibson did with his movie, when he took out a verse so it wouldn't be offensive. I still say boycott everything, no toys, shows, movies, clothing, etc.

Go Snoops!!!

I do this in the form of writing letters and not patronizing certain establishments. Also I research where to shop and which products to buy. We can only spend so much time on these things but if we all spent just a little, it makes a huge difference.

We haven't visited Disneyland since their "Gay Days". This is a day set aside just for homosexuals to have the park to themselves. Also don't buy their movies lately etc...It went downhill when Walt Disney passed on. There is a wonderful, totally CLEAN theme park in Gilroy California just an hour or so from here. Nothing bad displayed in the whole park, and it is beautiful.

Yeah, let's go back to the "good old days" of having fellow human beings as slaves and using violence to displace the Indians.

There were better days. Just scan through a few television stations or radio stations. Girls gone wild on television where it doesn't belong. Sexual themes in commercials, shows, songs, etc. Supposedly these things don't influence children. Anyone who says that is lying.

The attack on the church and anything related to Christianity is worse today, because this society is for the most part Godless, they only go through the motions. They don't like to be convicted, watered-down religion is what they like.

Also, the acceptance of homosexuals and other perverts into our society.
Socialist teachings in schools, sex-ed which is not needed, evolution is taught as fact, I'll stop there.

There were better days. ;)

Say not, "Why were the former days better than these?"
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.

Christopher Robin?

Sorry. Had to.

This is not too far from the truth actually.

Disney bought the rights to Winnie-the-Pooh in 1930, 4 years after its creation by A.A Milne who based the story on his son Christopher Robin Milne and a bear in the London Zoo name Winnipeg purchased by a Canadian from Winnipeg.

Wikipedia knows all ;)

Actually, this verse refers to asking why God sent blessings at one time, but no longer does.

It has nothing to do with pointing out that society now accepts things as normal that would have been wholly inappropriate just a few years ago.

You know, I know I'm going to sound like an old man, but when I was a kid about twenty-five years ago, you would never have dreamed of seeing the things on TV that you see now.

I remember when the TV shows "Soap" and "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" were considered so risque that they were only shown after 10PM. Now, it's considered so tame that such an idea is laughable. Now, filthy cartoons like "South Park" and "Family Guy" are shown in the afternoon so children can watch them when they get home from school.

On the Mary Tyler Moore show, Mary Richard's divorce was mentioned one time. Only one time in the pilot episode to explain why her character was thirty years old and single. After that, it wasn't mentioned again for fear of offending viewers.

Outisde of a small handful of channels, most of the channels on our TV are blocked out.

If the kids want to go to a movie, we've got to go see it first to make sure it's OK to take them to see it.

It's ridiculous.
