Dixon D White : White Privilege

A self-described "redneck" who goes by the pseudonym Dixon D. White posted a YouTube video that has taken the Internet by storm. In the video titled "I'm a redneck and I love America," he frankly and honestly discusses institutionalized racism and the culture of white privilege.

White, who wrote on Facebook that he has a white mother and Cuban father, admits that he was once a racist. "I didn't like blacks," he says. "Used to call 'em the n-word and what not." Now White, whose real name is Jorge Eugene Moran, has become an anti-racist activist.Excerpts from his video...

“White people are racist. Not all of them; white culture is. Our white country is. Our culture is full of white supremacy that caters to white people,” White says. “It’s about time we stop being lazy snip white people and take some snip responsibility,” White continues.

White, who still admits to being a “redneck,” says that there’s a new “South” and it’s called white racial responsibility. He pleads with white America to basically man and woman up, and take responsibility for their actions. He wants white people to speak out against racism instead of participating in it or turning a blind eye to it.

“It’s the inaction that has always destroyed other people. It’s the indifference,” White said. “I hate when people say I don’t see color. If you don’t see color, how the hell are you going to fix it?”

White implores white people to think outside the box. He also talks about white people being afraid of black retribution. “We’re scared of retribution; we got a lot of snip fear. We’re scared, we always have been,” White said.

White even delves into the prison population and cowardly police officers who are also scared of black retribution.

And let’s not forget about the fallacy of “reverse racism.” He says that it’s false, and that of course black people are angry—but angry about atrocities that white people continue to commit.

White urges people to vote for and create legislation to fight against the racism that is ingrained in America. He also implores people never to ignore any form of racism. “Speak up and act up” is his advice. White’s videos should be mandatory viewing for everyone.

Guys Zaac and that whatshisfacetheologian fella are extremists. If you continue to respond to their extremism then you are just feeding their illness. It is best for their mental health to just leave them be and not feed their need for this kind of emotional stimulation.

Gosh Jesus is an extremist. Was I supposed to feel a slap in the face from that?

I'm very extreme when it comes to exposing the wickedness of folks who are supposed to be representatives of Christ.

If some of yall are what the world has to look to, God help us.

Looks like the ole "can't see the forest for the trees" argument.

I can see the forest just fine. If I wanted to read profanity-laced commentary I would choose one of the many secular sites available online. My argument - if there was any - is there should be many writers with a Christian world view that support the thesis of white privilege. If there aren't any writers as such then the thesis may be questionable or the OP is being childish.

Before he even got into office, Bush’s profane tendencies were on display. In 1999, during an interview with Tucker Carlson for Talk Magazine, George W. Bush dropped the snip several times.---GW Bush

I'll go with the OP being childish.
