Do Sinners Have Angels?

I would have thought that everyone on this list would accept the fact that every human being born into this world has been baptized, at least by water.

I don't think everyone in the world has been baptized, but I have been both sprinkled and dunked. Guess I am either covered or at least clean!

HP: Did not Jesus refer to the natural birth as being baptized or ‘born of water’ when speaking to Nicodemus? Are we not all immersed in the womb by water as we enter this world of the flesh? Why would this not be a natural baptism?

As silly as the titles of some threads may seem they may lead us to the fountain of truth.

Do sinners have angels?

We are all sinners. Believers might have guardian angels (see Daniel 10:21, Matthew 18:10, and Acts 12:15). I have heard statements from non Christians who said they were helped by angels, but I don't know if they were guardian angels or not.

HP: If we are all sinners, we are all indeed most miserable. 1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

I as well wonder about the testimony of those unsaved helped by angels. I think I might conclude that IF in fact they are or were, it would be on behalf of someone praying for them.

Take for instance when I was younger and running from God, I was involved in a very serious traffic accident on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed for city traffic. I hit a car broadside at an intersection and never touched my motorcycle or the car. I went airborne over the top and or back glass and trunk of the car, landing on the pavement on the other side and sliding a good distance on the other side of the car before coming to a stop. I got up and walked away with only some very minor abrasions. Looking back, I have to believe that was the results of my mothers prayers. Somehow God put feet to those prayers. :godisgood:

But St. John wrote, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." I John 1:8 NKJV. We are sinners and saints at the same time.

HP: Lu 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
St. John also said this: 1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

I agree with JFox.

We are all sinners so we all have angels assigned to us.

If we are NOT saved, we are sinners.

If we ARE saved, we are sinners saved by grace.

1. Angels don't have "denominations".
2. People have guardian angels as CHrist said of the children "THEIR angels do always behold the face of My Father who is in heaven".

Not sure why "baptism" is coming up here.

in Christ,

Bob
