Ironic thing here is that II am already a "baptacostal" Christian, was addressing the situation from the view that would apply to ALL Baptists...

Taking out of this equation IF Gifts operate still today or have ceased...

Still seems like we as a whole are not having those moves of the Spirit to see sinners saved, preaching strong, and live transforming as wes hould be, at least per the Bible!

There is no such thing as a bapticostal. All charismatics/pentecostals practice believers baptism. Baptists historically understand that the sign gifts were completed with the passing of the Apostles and the completion of the scripture.
You re-wording this issue does not change the bottom line. You appealing to those who have deviant views here does not change the issue either[grudem, piper, etc]
Baptists teach just fine on the Spirit of God and His work. You start threads and post in a baptist only forum....yet you are not a baptist only.
Personally...I do not mind who posts in here...but do not try to push errant views that you might feel are valid among those who hold the historic position.
