I don't know about the act (I don't know enough how it will figure in to churches). I think that the transgender issue is pretty stupid. It is not discrimination to assign facilities by physical gender. Preference has nothing to do with it. Just because someone identifies as a cat does not mean we should provide feline-preference people with litter boxes instead of toilets. I do support the equal treatment of citizens by the government.

When people respected other people, we built facilities where multiple people simultaneously used the male or female rest-room.
Modern public parks have a building with 4 or more single use (locked door) rooms. Going forward I see no other solution.

My wife works at a private Christian school, and she is worried about it, told me about it today.
She was saying they may be forced to get rid of gender designating words for one thing. This LGBTQ+ act reaches the private sphere, not just the public one. See some offended person can complain and cause all sorts of grief.
Like I said some time ago here, Electing Biden would have bad consequences to our fundamental way of life. Biden is already costing me more money when I buy stuff. I am not all the worried about myself, more so for my kids and grandkids. My daughter is not putting her kids back into the public school system. Not liking the radical curriculum changes beginning, and she says the schools are no good, poor academics.

Actually it is discrimination - but it is good discrimination. Remember "discrimination" is a neutral term.

Or they say God made me this way, as in a homosexual, which is a lie. Being a homosexual is in the mind, in their fallen spirit.
Think about this, transexual is say a man becoming a woman, who then likely wants to be with a man, so just another kind of homosexual.
And if they dont change to a woman and stay as a man, then want to be with a man, they are homosexual.
Seems every combination is homosexual, except 2 trans together who were opposite sex to start off, but they are still acting out as an abomination.

There was a reason God said this, because God says it is an abomination.

Of course the disputers of this age will always argue and bring up objections.
God made them male and female, meaning they have their own separate gender.
Maybe the gender dysphoric are more like demons than people in their thinking.

The House did pass it --- and our local Congressman ( A republican) DID vote for it.
I have went on local FB pages and have asked officials of the Republican Party and the Conservative Party if they will endorse him next year.

Rep Katko (R-NY) also had voted to impeach President Trump.

The above are 2 false teachers nullifying or making of no effect the word of God, saying homosexuality is not spoken against in scripture, so by implication is ok with God.
So how many of you agree with them that scripture does not condemn homosexuality.

If your a Christian private school, you could be forced to hire LGBTQ people as teachers, administrators or potentially face prosecution from the government. Still may be hard to prove discrimination, hiring and firing is still the purview of the administration.
Activists could take notice that an organization has no LGBTQ staff and claim it is a hate group, deliberately targeting the organization.
I suppose there are going to be some LGBTQ people who will deliberately insert themselves into this to cause trouble. And some will genuinely seek employment not thinking being LGBTQ is sinning against God.
