Do you View Churches Like Assemblies of God As being Christian ones?

I also view them as Christian Churches. Maybe goofy but if God sends people to Hell for heterodox theology then many Baptists are in big trouble, also probably myself.

Good observation.

But about the AoG, I don't consider them goofy. I don't agree with their definition of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and tongues as initial evidence of same, but I certainly wouldn't call them goofy.

One of my favorite preachers was the late C.M Ward.

Would see them as being a "free will full gospel" baptist church...

Still would disagree with their takes on tongues, Holy Spirit operation, and how they view stages of the Spirit, but still consider them bethren in Christ!

Definitely Christian, provided they're not Oneness Penties (and AoG are thoroughly Trinitarian). I don't agree with aspects of their ecclesiology or pneumatology but that's another matter.

Despite them being pentacostal?

or do you viw them in with C of C/RCC?

I do not recognize any group of professing believers to be a New Testament "Christian" church unless they meet a certain minimum criteria.

No individual person knows all truth, but in order to be recognized as a true "Christian" they MUST believe certain minimal essentials found in the New Testament or otherwise there could be no difference between "tares" and the true "seed" of the kingdom - Mt. 13

No group of Christians know all truth, but in order to be recognized as a true "Christian" church they MUST believe and practice certain minimal essentials found in the New Testament or otherwise there could be no difference between true and false churches.

the AoG believ in the Gospel, the trinity, the bible as revealtion/inspired by God, that water baptism to believers only, so do you see them as being a "true church?"

They do not believe in the gospel of grace any more than Rome does. They reject justification by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone WITHOUT works but believe that ultimate justification before God is determined by your ability to continue in faith and works.

Any group that denies eternal security of TRUE believers but believes in apostasy of TRUE believers denies justification by grace without works because justification by grace without works is wholly based upon Christ's righteousness and ability not our righteousness NOR OUR ABILITY. Read Romans 4:21 and note it is God's Promise based upon God's POWER!

The issue of eternal security is the doctrine of justication not the doctrine of election. Galatians is about the doctrine of justification. The Gospel is the good news of the SUFFICIENT justification by faith through the Christ provision. It is SUFFICIENT because it is WITHOUT works on our part. Nothing to add to be sufficient. To take away or to add to the gospel renders it "another gospel."

I also don't believe in their speaking in tongues interpretation... speaking in tongues... the apostles can speak another language.... not mere babbling....
That's why Im glad I attended a baptist church...

We should teach the truth to people, and not damaging lies as you teach.

Of course, we can be sure of our salvation. I am sure of mine. However, that does not mean everyone is so sure of theirs. Should they be sure of theirs? Yes. Can they make themselves surer? Yes. People can make themselves surer; they can grow in the Lord.

If no one can lose their salvation, at least while here on earth, then explain what these scriptures mean.

Matthew 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

In Matthew 22:14 we see that there will be many that are invited; they come; but they are thrown out.

Here we are told that we too can be hardened! Hebrews 3:13, we are told to exhort one another daily lest any of you be hardened.

2 Peter 1:10. Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Galatians 5:4. Here Paul tells us we could fall from grace.

Hebrews 2:1. Here Paul tells us how to not drift away.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38. Here Jesus talks about not to draw back.
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Hebrews 12:15. Here Paul warns that one can cause trouble and cause many to be defiled.

My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you, Galatians 4:19. The Galatians needed Paul to go through again what he had already done with them before, and that is to form Christ in them again.

Read 2 Peter 2:18, wicked men can even mouth empty, boastful words, and, by appealings to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they can even entice people who are just escaping living in error.

Luke 12:46 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
