Did Jesus overcome sin and dead with human possibility or with the Holy Spirit?
Repentance is not the end of sin's existence; it is the end of its rule and reign. Sometimes the very act of struggling is evidence enough that sin is defeated. Otherwise, there would be no resistance to it, and sin would have its way without objection. After all, should a ship be sunk at sea, a half-dead man will struggle infinitely more than a totally-dead man. Take comfort in that, if nothing else.
Blessings,
