Does "the Normative Principle" Justify the Use of CCM and CWM?

Wikipedia defines "the normative principle" as follows:

The normative principle of worship is a Christian theological principle that teaches that worship in the Church can include those elements that are not prohibited by Scripture.

Another source says the same thing:

The normative principle of corporate worship also uses the Bible as the final authority but teaches that anything not expressly forbidden may be incorporated in services.​

Some believers hold that "the normative principle" justifies the use of CCM (Christian contemporary music) and CWM (contemporary worship music). Does "the normative principle" justify the use of CCM and CWM?

 

In order to discuss this subject properly, whatever the Bible itself says has to be the focus of the discussion. To my knowledge, the Bible never says anything that supports "the normative principle."
