Donald Trump and the mob

Donald Trump's glittering empire of New York skyscrapers and Atlantic City casinos have long had a darker side, allegations that the mob helped build them.

Trump's alleged ties to New York and Philadelphia crime families go back decades and have been recounted in a book, newspapers and government records.

"The mob connections of Donald are extraordinarily extensive," New York investigative journalist Wayne Barrett told CNN in an interview.

Barrett, the author of the 1992 unauthorized biography "Trump: The Deals and the Downfall," wrote that Trump's life "intertwines with the underworld."

The allegations are getting new scrutiny as Trump runs for president, largely on his record as a successful, and extraordinarily wealthy, businessman. As Trump cements his leads atop the polls, questions about how he made his billions, and who helped him make them, are starting to take center stage.

I certainly hope the Donald wins because I look forward to your rants over the next four years. Some on this board say that I hate Obama! But whatever it is I feel towards him, it didn't start until I witnessed how terrible a leader he was. In your case, it is clear, you are not even waiting. :BangHead:

Boy the left is scared to death of trump.

Sort of reminds me of the left and their total disdain of Ronald Reagan. Strange, isn't it. Maybe the left thinks the Donald can win this thing. Maybe the right needs to step back and look at what's going on.

It ought to be the Right who is scared of Trump.

They are! And IMO its a good thing. They have been asleep at the helm.
If they don't wake up they will get what they deserve, Donald will be a thorn in their side.

If Donald is nominated watch the weeping and wailing amongst the GOP "good old boys".

He will be the first nominee with absolutely no political support from the RINOs.

That is, if he can survive the onslaught of rumors of rape, mob connection and who knows what else both right and left will throw against the Trump wall to see if it sticks.

Sit back and watch the circus!

Let's not ignore all of the allegations of murder against the Clintons.

Surely CTB takes those just as seriously.

My friend Keith built his own pub in Orange, Massachusetts. He put in a really nice BOSE sound system, and had speakers everywhere. CDs were brand new and the sound was great.

One day, three big guys came in, told him it was a nice sound system, but their jukebox was going to replace it.

There was nothing he could do. Nobody was interested. Not newspapers, cops, mayors, nobody.

This was in Orange, not Boston. Orange is a little bitty town about 80 miles out of Boston, in the Berkshire Mountains.

I imagine it's impossible to get anything done on the east coast without the mob being involved. I think most of the presidents in our lifetime had underworld connections.

Do you think Trump would be soft on organized crime ?

And all Obama's personal and business associates were anti American communists and terrorists.

Didn't matter to democrats.

Dom Trumpino.

Has a nice ring to it. I wonder if we can find somebody named Tony to be his VP. :flower:
