Donald Trump could face a revolt from senior voters on November 3.

"As COVID-19 continues to spread across the US and the economy remains suspended by uncertainty, several national polls indicate a collapse in support for Mr Trump among senior voters.

This group was a massive help to Mr Trump in 2016, so recent polls that say he's now losing older voters by more than 20 percentage points are a heavy blow to his re-election hopes.

Mr Trump didn't help matters last week when he tweeted a photo of his political opponent, which appeared to mock older Americans.

It was considered an astonishing move given his sliding support among that very group."

Could Donald Trump's fate in Florida be decided by this retirement village? Some analysts think so

Seems you're the one selling short the wisdom of "senior voters". If anything, we already know the shortcomings of seniors as we have experienced a lot, if not most, of them and anyone who changes his vote due to a political "MOCK" is too far gone for them to make any rational decision anyway.
JFTR, I'm 84 and far more mentally stable than Biden, so I do speak with some familiarity with the subject of "AGE" problems!!!!!
Don't sell Trump short just 'cuz you don't like him!!
Besides, Trump is an equal opportunity "mocker"!

I can't believe Biden has a double-digit lead over Trump with people over 65 at all - Trump is not that much younger than Biden, and this demo ALWAYS skews GOP.

I used to have the Villages app but I uninstalled it. It is a very wealthy enclave with high real estate prices. The app was not very good as it was mostly a listing of properties for sale. The place has a mixed reputation because of morals.

I was taught by a nurse the Villages have some of the highest STD infections of anywhere in Central Florida. Morals are not necessarily a given among baby boomers.

This great article I found helps explain what's going on.

Florida’s senior vote shifting from Trump to Biden, polls show. But is it really?

They made the news when some alcoholics carried on in public one night. Some of those homes cost a million dollars. They want about 125k for a doublewide and then there are club fees and yard upkeep.

Well, the thing about elections -you never know what will happen.

Just ask President Dewey about his 1948 election.

Agreed. The "Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll " motto is a baby boomer (my generation) product. Today's society is reaping the fall-out of that misguided thought process. Oh yeah "If It Feels Good, Do It" is another priceless gem which has yielded an abundance of moral depravity.
