If someone writes or says something Trump doesn't like, he either threatens to or actually sues while simultaneously pushing out a counter-narrative aimed at discrediting the initial report and turning the story toward more favorable ground for him.
Everything is to be treated as a tabloid story that can be shaped, changed, rebutted, knocked down and torn apart though force of will -- and words.


It's worked remarkably well for Trump. And so it shouldn't be all that surprising that he's brought that blueprint to Washington with him.

Bloodshed from infants (abortion) to murder of the elderly (death with dignity) to outright assassinations attempts of our politicians to suggestions and requests to murder the POTUS (with no retribution) IMO is always a rational point and why the POTUS needs special counsel.

But does this have an example? Yep; when in the Senate, JFK "wrote"

Profiles in Courage to help his chances of getting the only office worth having (in the Kennedy view). A young CBS newsman named Mike Wallace knew the truth, that JFK's buddy and speechwriter, Ted Sorenson, really wrote it and wanted to tell the country. But old Joe threatened CBS News with a $100 million if he did this, and they were so afraid of him and his connections that Wallace was ordered to not do this report.

Now, we know The Boy's response is going to be "stay on topic," or it would be if I hadn't saved him the trouble of typing those 11 letters by doing so myself. But the topic is a president being investigated and the truth told about him.
