Donald Trump's toughest hurdle to pull off a win: Most minds are made up

' The former vice president's position has brought back memories from 2016 when Democrat Hillary Clinton led in polls three weeks from Election Day, before Trump's victory. Trump faces a problem unlike four years ago: The majority of voters – 95% or higher in most polls – say they have already decided who they're backing and can't be persuaded. ...

Lowe, a political independent, is "not enamored by either candidate" but called Trump's response to the coronavirus pandemic "nothing short of abysmal" and said his "personality, actions and behaviors demean the office of the president of the United States." ...

Miringoff said, "There's very few people who are looking over the choices right now. That makes it very uphill for the president. It's a very steep incline for him. People are comparing it to 2016, but I think it's a very false comparison." '

Ken, you just may get your wish for the POTUS, but, I guarantee that if you do, before Feburary 1st you will be having regrets! That is if you aren't currently a strong undercover financial supporter of the left - in which case you will probably be safe as long as you keep the $ flowing in the "right" direction.

He supports carbon fees, so is likely to support the GND proposal of AOC. And his priority is the GND ideas not abortion etc...He then is the same as democrats saying lowering carbon emissions to stop global warming is become an existential crisis., greater than all others. He also thinks the WALL is waste of time and money tp keep out illegal immigration.

So that makes me not a fan.

Energy & Environment

Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
I support carbon fee and dividend proposals, and an updating of regulations to fit the next generation of nuclear energy production.

Administrative Priorities
I would love to put my major effort into the life issues such as abortion, euthanasia, and strengthening the family, but climate change has become a triage-level Life issue. Much of this can be addressed by jobs and infrastructure-producing cooperation between government and private industry, a shift to nuclear generation, and the application of American ingenuity. We must address homelessness, illnesses of despair, and justice reform. The recent trend has been to push more of the costs for these from the wealthy onto the middle class. That must be reversed.

Kind of amusing that the OP states ‘most minds are made up’, & yet his own mind changes by the minute.

Bid:n’s biggest hurtle is not believing the biased polls showing him winning by a landslide. It’s the same every election cycle. The pollsters use the same language (this race is over) weeks out to suppress conservative votes, then as election nears they claim its tightening but “too little to late” for conservatives. Then the people vote and, as Bid:n said, “son if a gun....”, conservatives win.

I agree most minds are made up and POT:S will be re-elected.

peace to you
