You've made the false assumption that Augustus Strong only included the meanings of the words that directly relate to the biblical text instead of the broader meaning of the word. He's giving you more than just the specific meaning of the word in context, he's fleshing out the related meanings for you.
I believe you mean James Strong, here, not Augustus Strong.

Oops! You are correct. I'm not sure what I was thinking.

I read so much of Augustus Strong's writings (pamphlets and excerpts from his Systematic Theology) back in college, I sometimes type his name instead of James Strong.

Don't buy Pepsi in the new can. Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the Pledge of Allegiance on them. However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge, "Under God." Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone. In that case, we don't want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either! So if we don't buy any Pepsi product, they will not be offended when they don't receive our money that has the words "In God We Trust" on it.

Amen...........lol

Talk bad about soda, pop, soda pop, coke, pepsi, 7-up, Dr. Pepper, but NEVER TALK BAD ABOUT A HOT DOG! .

There is nothing that tastes better than a Hot Dog smothered in Chili and Onions.

Hey AAA, In case you did see the earlier pages of this thread that material I posted is actually an internet hoax. So don't jump on a boycot. Sorry for the mistake.:BangHead:

Personally, I don't have to worry about the boycott of Pepsi, because of the cans. The Pepsi I am currently drinking is in a 24 oz. bottle!

Well we are at ten pages, on a three page limit. Surely Lady Eagle will soon fly by with the six hour notice. :D
