My brother once set a sealed up box of garbage in the alley outside his machine shop with a note attached that read 'don't take this box'. It was gone the next morning.

::: trying to figure out what this has to do with Baptist Theology & Bible Study :::

Unless, of course, it is a reference to Luke 9:62??
Or perhaps Matthew 7:3/Luke 6:41???
Maybe the question asked in Matthew 11:3/Luke 7:20??
Perhaps a warning against making the mistake stated in Luke 14:18?

Ach! So many possibilities!!

Or, maybe none at all ... hm.

Years ago I built a panic button. A black sealed box with a red push button. Labled simply "PANIC" and when pressed it let out with a shrill whistle. Leave it alone and it would stop in 15 seconds, press it again and the timer started over - seldom went off in 15.
