Dove

    Any body do any dove hunting this past weekend? How did you do?

    I dont, but I was talking to a guy that went in burleson, they got two all day! A friend of his went down to the valley and got his limit in half an hour.

    They say all the rain in north texas this year seems to have messed up the dove hunt, last year too little rain, this year too much - a guy cant win!

    Rain messes up duck season too. Too much rain gives the ducks too many water holes to fill up, too little rain doesn't give them a place to land. You can't win when you depend on the weather.

    Dove season is a good chance to get your shooting tuned in again from being off for the spring and summer. Gives you a chance to work your dog, shoot some birds, and spend time with family. Dove hunting is good times all around.

    Got more Ticks than I did Doves. But loved the way my new Benelli shot.

    There isn't anything wrong with a Benelli. I shoot an 870 though, it hasn't failed me yet.

    Wow, that seems harsh...i'm no fan of Dennis Kucinich, but i see no reason to shoot him.
    What...not those doves? You mean the actual birds? My bad!
