    Is everybody called to minister? I mean in an evangelical sense? I’m around; actually I’m involved with, a lot of the minorities and multiple activists, several of them not pertaining of ethnicity, that need a ton of this. Yet I’m no good with direct, literal ministry and preaching to people right out. Despite this does God command me to offer him to everyone I know? Or is there a limit; such as only approaching my peers, or employers, or fellow ethnic groups? I’m mainly associated with two cultures: The ‘spiritual left;’ mainly ethnic minority dancers, musicians, writers and speakers, and the students of AICASF; mostly hardcore/punk rock fandom and MTV watchers. I’m actually caught in a mental battle of understanding of the two, and I can’t seem to find a way to communicate/relate to either of them. Actually, I’ve been too isolated to relate to much of anything except what comes out of news radio. Anyway, should I try to minister to them, being part of my passion in life? I really don’t know who else to share Jesus with. I once felt called to minister inside in Church as a deacon or even a preacher, but I think that would be a burden to my work outside it.

    To minister means to serve. If you minister to someone, you are serving them, in whatever capacity. So we all minister everyday. It is how we do it that counts!

    Don't forget, your life counts more than your words to those who are around you.

    Everyone is called to minister to those around them, although it may be in different ways. Live a life that is pleasing to Christ, speak of Him when the opportunity presents itself, and be sensitive to His leading for all other occasions. Remember, God is not willing that any should perish and it is up to us to ensure the Lord is lifted up and His Word is spoken of, not necessarily preached to those around you, but certainly to minister the power of God to those that we come in contact with. This includes family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc.

    There are people that you can reach that I will never have an opportunity to reach. We must work together as a team if we are to win the world for Christ.

    How do we train? My church dosen't have much of a program, and I never can seem to remember what my pastor says even when I'm listening!

    Everytime you smile at someone, you are ministering to them. Everytime you pick up something someone dropped, you are ministering to them. Everytime you do anything to help anyone else, you are ministering to them.

    We are called to be servants, following the One who was the greatest Servant of all. You learn to serve as you serve.

    It is when you do what you do with the Spirit of Christ in you that people will be drawn to Christ.

    I do a some of those humble things, but no one really cares...in fact that ask for more sometimes...one of my drawing teachers wants me to treat him as 'God'...

    God cares. You are in HIS training more than anyone else's!

    As for your drawing teacher, the kinder you are to him the more he is going to see the difference between you and him. You don't have to get ridiculous, but you can treat him with absolute respect and that should make him open his eyes a bit!

    YOU may not see the result of the seeds you plant, but the Bible says that one sows and another reaps.

    But God knows, and He also rewards the sower!

    Besides, we care that you are doing this. It means one more follower of Christ is coming along and that is cause for all of us to rejoice!

    Be "receptive" to the "Holy Ghost", develop a "Relationship" with "HIM", He'll tell you when to speak, what to say, and when not to "cast your pearls before swine".

    When the "spirit" says to speak, it's already working in the other person, the "simple words" you say may seem "simple" to you, but because of the Spirit, they'll hit with the impact of a "Sledgehammer".

    Church is where you "Worship God",

    "In the world" is where you "SERVE GOD".

    If you don't know or how to speak to someone about the need for salvation, pray and ask Jesus for help.

    Maybe in the form of a gospel tract or a simple small book about salvation.
    Also you could team up with someone from your church who may have a better knowledge of these things to help you.
