    CNN has just reported that the death toll has risen to nearly 10,000 people! :praying: :1_grouphug:

    I can't imagine...

    I was listening to NPR and they were saying that parents were waiting at the school as huge cranes lifted the cement slabs that were part of the school. One rescuer brought out a young boy's body and one set of parents started screaming - they had recognized their little boy right away. I can't imagine standing on the sidelines waiting to see if my baby was dead or alive.

    My prayers are with all of the citizens who have been affected by this earthquake. :(
