Economy nearly stalled in last quarter of 2007

    The Commerce Department’s report on the gross domestic product, released Wednesday, showed an economy that had deteriorated considerably during the October-to-December quarter as worsening problems in the housing market and harder-to-get credit made individuals and businesses more cautious in their spending. Fears of a recession have grown.

    Hum, and to think that there are users on this board that think our economy is doing just dandy. They even think it's ok that China owns.. I mean we owe them billions of dollars... :rolleyes: Amazingily enough they have nothing to say in the new economy threads. Could it be that they are/were wrong and just can't admit it?

    This country is in sad shape right now and we need to wake up and take notice before it's too late.
