Egypt needs submarines, Obama wants to give them a billion dollars

We've all been there. Maybe you're trying to park your car, have no change, but find a spot where the meter's already full. Or, maybe you don't have enough cash to pay for lunch, but find a twenty in your pocket that you didn't think you had. Call it fate, call it kismet, but it's nice when it happens. Right now, Egypt is having the same kind of good fortune.

According to the country's top newspaper, the newly Islamic-controlled country would like to buy a pair of high tech U-boats from Germany. With them, they'd be able to strike at the shipping routes, and offshore energy facilities, of nations throughout the Mediterranean. Yes, including Israel. The problem is that two of the submarines will cost the cash-poor country almost a billion dollars.

Fortunately, they've got an ally willing to help them out.

Barack Obama's surrogates are currently negotiating with the Egyptian government, in the hopes of sending them an aid package worth -wait for it - exactly $1 Billion dollars. What a fortunate coincidence!

Obama's threw Mubarak under the bus. Now he wants to give the Muslim Brotherhood submarines. I call that suspicious. Sort of like his promise to The Russians!

Today, the US embassy in Egypt was stormed by Muslims. . .they tore down the US flag. . .and the big zero wants to give them money. Nice. Real nice. It's time to ship him back home to Kenya.

I don't know why we call Obama a closet Muslim? He seems to be out in front on appeasing the Muslim Brotherhood. Unless there is real scary stuff we don't even know about. Should we be worried?

Why don't you text message him and remind him that Americans are still in need of houses and jobs? Surely $1B could have paid off a couple of homes, especially for that young lady just before the last election who thought he was actually going to buy her a house and a car....

Disgusting. Believe me, if obama wins a second term, I truly expect him to take the oath of office on the Quran and he will say he is returning to the "religion of his fathers."

So what are you going to do with a Uboat in Alabama? Add it to the Royal Alabama Fleet? Or maybe park it next to the USS Alabama in Mobile Bay and raise the entrance fee?

I know a better use of the one billion dollars. That would be a prison for politicians and thieves. Investigate very Congressman, President, Vice-President, cabinet officers, lobbyists, and special interest group for treason, theft of tax dollars, abuse of power, and economic terrorism. Upon conviction, send them there for life, chopping rocks and chain gangs. Leg iron Mitch McConnell and Barney Frank together. Their new warden is Sheriff Joe Arpaio. I am sick to death of our money being squandered. That goes for Congress too. They are off more days than in session. When in session, they do nothing but play political games.

Believe it or not, one of our neighbors used to own a small one. Kept it in his driveway. Yes, it was yellow.

Not much, poncho. They are about as useful as potted plants. A few Congressmen (R) have protested sending the funds, but the Rules say the debates or whatever for Continuing Resolution are over and the bill (which includes these funds) is expected to pass the House.

Isn't that wonderful. I expect it will pass the house. Anything that hurts this country and puts us in greater danger will pass the house. Who needs external enemies? The government is doing a better job of destroying us than any outside threat ever could.
