Kentucky just announced all primary elections in June (over a month away) will be done by mail-in ballot..... Yeah, no chance of there being issues with that at all.....

The guidelines make no sense at all. So we can go to walmart and stay six feet apart, why can't we do the same at the polls? Wipe down the stations after every use, this isn't difficult people.

If they were really worried, they could set up outdoor polling. But this isn't about safety.
I am 78 and I am not even worried about this anymore. At work, they don't want you to touch the buttons on the vending machines. At the pharmacy, they were supplying Q-tips for you to use to punch in your pin number on a debit card. That kind of stuff just doesn't worry me. So I would like to vote in person.
Indiana has postponed their primary election until June 2 but I don't have any other details.
I am more worried about the economy than I am about this pandemic, which kills mostly old people and also others who have other medical issues. My town has a lot of restaurants and stores and I am worried that now it is going to have a lot of empty buildings. This shutdown greatly favors the wealthy as they will be able to buy up distressed property for pennies on the dollar. Organized Labor supports this shutdown because they have good unemployment benefits and because their union bosses (those not in prison) think that a bad economy will help Biden.

Primary doesnt bother me. It would be massive fraud in the general if handled that way.
It should be up to the Party as to how their voting should be done.
Personally, I prefer a caucus
I am not familiar with how the caucus actuallly works.

Here is the short version
Primary - basically an election to choose the Party candidates for the General election.
A person goes into the booth and votes a secret ballot.
Caucus- individual within a voting meeting have a meeting.
They discuss the candidates who wish to be that parties candidate in the election.
Then a vote is taken. If a person is not viable - a second vote is taken (possible with addition discussion)
For example
5 people want to be mayor.
Andy =.........41 votes
Bob =...........27 votes
Charlie.........18 votes
Dan.............14 votes
Total...........100 vote
Let us assume a viable candidate must have 15%
So Dan is not viable - less than 15%
After a little more discussion:
Andy =.........44 votes
Bob =...........27 votes
Charlie.........29 votes
Dan............. no longer on ballot
Total...........100 vote
All are viable but no one has a majority
THIRD VOTE after additional discussion
Andy =.........46 votes
Bob =........... 3 votes
Charlie......... 51 votes
Dan............. no longer on ballot
Total...........100 vote
So even though Charlie came in 3rd place initially after discussions -
he ends up being the winner with the majority vote.
Wonder what influence Paula White has oen Trumps moral & spiritual character.
