Elementary School Students Reportedly Taught Songs Praising President Obama

A video posted on YouTube appears to show a New Jersey elementary school class being taught to sing praises of the "great accomplishments" of President Obama.

The video shows nearly 20 young children taught a song overflowing with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again."

The video identifies the kids as students at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, N.J., with taping taking place last June.

The song quotes directly from the spiritual "Jesus Loves the Little Children," though Jesus' name is replaced with Obama's: "He said red, yellow, black or white/All are equal in his sight. Barack Hussein Obama."

How does the report make it sound like all kids are singing?

The report is specific as to who these kids are and makes no mention of any other schools or groups of kids.

Perhaps you have an anti-Fox bias?

This sort of thing is inappropriate for any president regardless of political orientation. As was allegedly originally inscribed on Oliver Cromwell's casket - "God, not man, is King."

Alatide/freedom/JustChristian/whatever's problem is this: He is so intellectually dishonest...that even when presented with a clearly troublesome issue...instead of agreeing that it is wrong...he must look for a "right-wing" equivalent to it...even if one does not exist.

But even if there is an equivalent example from the right...he still can't bring himself to admit that this is disturbing video we are seeing.

Heck, for all we know, he wrote the song.

Other families arriving at Bernice Young Elementary to pick up their children said they were outraged at the songs, which also tout a fair-pay bill Obama signed in January: "He said we must be clear today/Equal work means equal pay."



"I felt this was reminiscent of 1930s Germany, and the indoctrination of children to worship their leader," said Robert Bowen, father of two children at Bernice Young Elementary.

This is absolutely disgusting! :eek: I would pull my kids out and take legal action.

The principal of a New Jersey elementary school where young students were videotaped singing the praises of President Obama is making no apologies for the videotape and says she would allow the performance again if she could, according to parents who spoke with her Thursday night.

What a disturbed lady she should NEVER work with children! Criminal charges should be brought against her.

I must say, I don't care who the President is...this is over the top. The people responsible for this should be on the receiving end of disciplinary action.

I hope some students hearing such songs have the creativity to fight fire with fire. For example, We've got a black man in the White House,One who's marxist to the core.Christian momma, muslim pop;Eating Jeremiah's slop--As he pukes it up, the worms are are out the door.

Whoever is responsible should be made to go on a date with Barney Frank or Nancy Pelosi...whichever disgusts them more.
