Enoch and Noah

Gen 5:21-24 tells us that Enoch walked with God - and then he never died

Gen 6:8-9 tells us that Noah was a righteous man, blameless...

Now if it had not been for that episode of getting drunk after the flood,
Do you think the Lord would have brought Noah home without death.

One other question:
We believe that believers went to Paradise (Abraham's bosom) before the cross.
But was Enoch taken up to Heaven - or did he go to Paradise?

Why did God take Enoch bypassing death but not Noah?
Could not have been because Enoch was sinless.
Only one man was ever sinless and He suffered death.

Here is probably the reason.

Romans 9:15 ... I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

One other question:

Neither Enoch nor Elijah died (that we can tell from the Scriptures.

The next is my opinion and not to be found in the Scriptures.

Because the Bible states the death precedes judgement, then these also must in the span of human time die.

Therefore, perhaps these are the two witnesses that are seen by John as slain and laying in the Jerusalem streets while the world celebrates.

Being translated or taken up bodily into heaven without seeing death is not necessarily the greatest honour given by God to a human being. Compare Elijah and Elisha, whom, we are given to understand, received a double share of the Holy Spirit. Elijah did not see death, like Elisha; but neither did he while in the grave give life to another, as Elisha did (2 Kings 13:21), thereby being more a type of Christ.
The depraved incumbent at the Vatican isn't even claiming a particularly great honour for Mary when he asserts, falsely, that she was assumed bodily into heaven! (and his claim that she remained a virgin after the birth of Christ is an insult to her, to Joseph, and, above all, to God, who would thereby have denied to that believer dying under the Old Covenant a seed of his own to enjoy Messiah's reign)

OT: Also consider Moses, someone just as great as Noah as far as salvation (Noah = humanity and animals / Moses = Israel). Moses was unable to enter the Promised Land because he sinned against YHWH (Numbers 20:10-12).
Did, then, Elijah never sin so heinously as Noah or Moses? Or did Elisha sin somehow so as to forfeit such a glorious departure?
NT: In New Testament times, Jesus, of course was raised from the dead. Peter said of him, "the God of our fathers glorified his servant, Jesus...". Others were raised to life, including Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, and the widow's son in Nain. Did they merit some special favor by their own exemplary character and deeds, or did Jesus simply obey the Father's daily directives in fulfillment of his commission ("I have glorified you on earth, having completed the work that you gave me to do" John 17:4)?
Application: Enoch, like Noah, Peter, or Paul, must be conformed to the image of Christ, who is the Savior of all, especially of who believe (1 Tim 4:10). I hope our lives turn out in some way to reflect our Savior and Lord as well.
