Hebrews 13:[1] Let brotherly love continue.

[2] Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Sometimes Gods children find themselves at the end of their rope so to speak... Hurting inside and out and feeling their is no one that hears their plight. They feel their prayers are not answered and that their God has overlooked their problems and is deaf to their cry. Then from heaven comes the answer and it may be from someone that they have never met or known but sent from God... How many have felt at sometime in their life they have entertained or been entertained by angels unawares by random acts of kindness?... Brother Glen [IMG] [IMG]

    Bro. Glen,

I feel that I have one time intertained angels. Back in 1980 I was pastoring a church in Colorado, I was going through hard times with a church and need some incouragement.

A family came throug town going to Canada and called because they needed their bus worked on. We helped them out and boy did I get into trouble. But, this family left after spending a week with us and we have not been able to find them again nor find anyone who knew of them.

Needness to say I need the encouragement at that time and I really feel God sent us some angels to give us support.

My wife had something to happen to her on this past Tuesday. She was approached down town Oklahoma City by a guy dressed like a street person. HE asked for her help and she told him she did not have anything to give to him because all she had was $5 on her which was for the toll
road to go to Duncan on Thanksgiving. The guy looked very familiar just like an old friend she used to have when she was younger.

He said Thank you any way mam and God bless you and I hope you and your family will have a Blessed Thanksgiving and will be safe. she said she walked a few steps forward and felt guilty for not giving him the $5.00 she had so she said she turned to go back but he was not there. She said there was no place for him to have gone. The building they were in front of did not have any doors on that side and he could not have crossed the street in just a couple of minutes and gotten out of sight. He had literally just vanished.

I reminded her of the scripture about entertaining angels unawares and that we all need to be careful and prayerful before we make decisions hastily.

One time I was driving a huge UHAUL and was pulling my car behind me, and I got stuck in a parking lot of a hotel. It was pouring pouring pouring rain (Nebraska) and I had to turn this thing around (if you have ever tried to do a three point turnaround pulling a car that is hitched on a trailer, you will know that you have about eight degrees of freedom). Every time I turned, the car wheels turned on the trailer bed so I could never get the car itself to turn. Well to make a long story short, a guy shows up and helps me do the thirty or so turns and adjustments it takes, standing in the pouring rain the whole time. It took about thirty minutes and he was completely soaked when we were done. He just arrived, help me out, and left, and I never caught his name. I don't think he was an angel, but he certainly was send from God!
