My adult study group has decided to go through the evangelism book “Share Jesus without Fear” by William Fay. I’ve said before that I despise Lifeway resources (they are, IMNSHO, a blight on the SBC as they are both a result and cause of biblical illiteracy in our congregations today)....but I digress :( . That said, I do have some exceptions when it comes to study guides, and this is one (Church History would be another).

Has anyone worked through this book as a group, and if so, what did you think?

I have read it. Some good ideas, but ultimately an Arminian type of book. I would recommend the Way of the Master instead. But if you just cant give up Arminian soteriology then I would recommend one of Mark Cahill's books. One of the better arminian evangelists.

Thank you for your opinion. I have no Arminian soteriology to give up, but I appreciate your response all the same.
